Founder and CEO Ted Levinson is an experienced finance professional who specializes in using debt to produce a blended social impact and financial return. With more than 20 years in finance and the most recent twelve in social finance, Ted has been deeply involved in the growth of the social finance industry, providing a role model for other impact investors rooted in rigor and a willingness to provide risk capital to promising social enterprises.

Ted Levinson

Ted has worked across impact areas, including sustainable agriculture that links global and local supply chains to deliver more value to producers, education including job training and employment for those with barriers to employment, the environment including sustainable energy and waste reduction, and livelihood development for those in emerging markets. He believes in a market-driven approach to addressing social and environmental challenges and he is dedicated to providing social entrepreneurs with the capital they need to bring solutions to scale.

Ted spent seven years at RSF Social Finance where he was the Senior Director of Social Enterprise Lending, managing an $85 million portfolio of loans to US and Canada-based social enterprises.  Ted was the Treasurer of Social Enterprise Alliance, the national membership organization and key catalyst for the rapidly growing social enterprise movement in the United States from 2013 until 2020. In 2014 he was one of nine Americans selected as an Eisenhower Fellow.
