Ontosoroh

Ontosoroh is a specialty coffee exporter that connects approximately 850 smallholder coffee farmers across Indonesia with premium international markets. The company works with farmers and farmer groups in regions including Flores, Java, Sulawesi, Sumatra, and Papua, many of whom are members of Indigenous communities such as the Bajawa, Manggarai, Toraja, Konjo, Ngalum Ok, and Semende peoples. By providing market access, quality control support, agronomy training, and export coordination, Ontosoroh helps farmers earn significantly higher prices than in conventional coffee markets. In addition, Ontosoroh supports farmers with soil health programs, processing improvements, and specialty coffee training that strengthen productivity while preserving local coffee traditions. Beneficial Returns provided a loan to support coffee purchases during the harvest season, ensuring timely payments to farmers and fulfilling growing export demand for specialty Indonesian coffee.
