Private foundations can make grants or recoverable grants to Beneficial Returns.
Grants
Grants in any amount are used to make loans to social enterprises. As the borrowers repay Beneficial Returns, your contribution will be recycled into additional loans multiplying the impact of your contribution.
Recoverable Grants
Grants of $10,000 or more can also be structured as recoverable grants. The funds will be used to make loans to social enterprises and your foundation account will be repaid in full in equal, annual payments over a seven-year period.
