HEINCKE

Heincke is a certified B Corporation that purchases and processes unrefined, whole cane sugar (panela in Spanish) from over 1,000 smallholder farmers in six regions in Colombia. Heincke improves the quality of small-scale production by enhancing local mill infrastructure, which leads to a 30% increase in farmer income from the crop. Heincke also supports the transition to regenerative agriculture, improving soil health and farmer health. Beneficial Returns provided a first equipment loan to expand Heincke’s product line to include micro-pulverized panela for industrial use. In 2025, we approved a second loan to support their export operations. This credit line is guaranteed by an international NGO.
