DelPla

DelPla is a plantain processing social enterprise based in Colombia, serving restaurants and food distributors with frozen and pre-fried products. With over 70% of revenue coming from exports, DelPla connects more than 100 smallholder families to stable, formal markets across four rural regions. The enterprise pays producers in cash each week—often at double the local price—helping boost household incomes and resilience.

DelPla also creates dignified jobs, especially for women and vulnerable groups, and is expanding production to meet rising demand. With support from Beneficial Returns, DelPla acquired new industrial equipment to enhance quality, scale operations, and reach more farming families.
