Debbie is backed by her extensive experience in risk management and loan structuring. She started her career in the biggest bank in the Philippines, and more recently, she worked as a senior credit analyst in one of the largest global banks. It is through these work that she gained exposure to enterprises of various sizes, gauging their needs and potential for growth.
Early on, Debbie already believed that economic growth has not been fairly distributed. As such, there is a pressing need to support enterprises that can bridge this gap and benefit the most underprivileged communities.
She further believes that capital, when combined with social awareness and activism, can be instrumental in addressing global social issues. Her years of working with enterprises, particularly those in the SME sector solidified this thinking. This has been the foundation of her work in Beneficial Returns.
She is a Philippine CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accountancy from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
