Chacha is a producer of organic rice and chia-based pasta and the retailer of the Perfect Earth Foods brand. The company sources its raw ingredients from marginalized hilltribe communities in Thailand, near the Burma border, where it trains farmers in sustainable practices to help double their income while preserving their unique way of life. Through its work, Chacha restores community vitality by providing stable incomes to families and staving off migration to cities out of economic necessity. It is also restoring soil health in the region by replacing conventional farming with organic practices. Beneficial Returns has provided Chacha with four loans to support its growth, including the launch and expansion of an organic instant noodle line.
