He holds a degree in Film and Audiovisual Production from UPAEP and has worked across cinematography, photography, editing, and media production in fiction, documentary, educational, and institutional settings. His work is guided by close attention to people, place, and emotional clarity, and by a practical understanding of how strong visual language can make complex ideas more accessible.

Carlos has also worked internationally in Germany and New York, experiences that expanded
his perspective and strengthened his ability to communicate across cultures, formats, and
audiences. Beyond film, he has participated in leadership, social innovation, and
community-oriented programs, including Ubuntu, VIRTA, and university-based initiatives
