Alex has rotated through various fields in finance, starting his career with one of the major global accounting firms where he was grounded in financial analysis before pursuing a successful trading career in global fixed income. The work at Beneficial Returns leverages upon his past experience and more, requiring him to grow to become the sort of investor who can bridge the economic gap effectively.

His passion for this work stems from a bone-deep belief that every person has been gifted with a unique potential for good work. He knows that great businesses can release this potential from the poor, and hopes to allocate capital to support these businesses for the common good.

Alex has passed all three levels of the CFA exam. In his last employment, he was Managing Director and CEO of Bank of America Singapore.
