Cotton Nation

Cotton Nation is a Peruvian social enterprise supplying organic and regenerative cotton cultivated in the Amazon region of San Martín under a fair trade model. Working with more than 2,500 smallholder farming families, the company supports the transition from conventional agriculture to regenerative practices that restore soil health, prevent deforestation, and improve farmer livelihoods. Cotton Nation provides training, certification pathways, and guaranteed purchase agreements, enabling farmers to access premium international markets while earning stable, above-market incomes. With a loan from Beneficial Returns, the company strengthened its regenerative production model and upgraded its traceability system, responding to growing demand from European and North American fashion brands for verified, end-to-end supply chain transparency.
